I am pretty sure Emily didn't have bangs, so that would be one difference. Her face shape should not be the same as Nelly either, in my opinion. Alos, I was under the impression that Emily was a redhead (not dark like Felicity though). I could be wrong. It's been a while since I read those books. . .

Hee hee ... I remember the Molly books, but I haven't read them in year! I know Emily's character, but I can't remember, what did she look like?
I'm curious, because if she sounds cute I might hold out on Jess and get her, instead. Do you think they'll change her looks, though, the way they did with Elizabeth? And does anyone have a good guess as to when she'll be released?

To tell you the truth she looked a lot like Nellie! Had short, straight strawberry blonde hair, very fair skin, and blue eyes.

I think they might change her looks because otherwise she would look alot like Nellie. I kinda pictured her looking like Susan from the new Narnia movie, but then she will look more like Ruthie from Kit's books, so I have no idea what to expect with her. Does anyone know for sure what she will look like?

Emily is described as having "ginger" hair, but we all know that can change. Until I re-read her description, I had always pictured her as a pale blonde with gray eyes and very, very pale skin - almost nondescript. Not sure why though.

She's a cross between Nellie and Kit. Kit's hairstyle, Nellie's hair color. I'll be very interested to see which set of blue eyes they use for her.
#21's hair color in Kit's hairstyle with Kirsten's blue eyes would be a lovely combination for Emily I think. #21 is more of a ginger-colored dark blonde with some hints of red. Not outright strawberry like Nellie and not blonde like Kit/Kirsten.

Nellie was changed substantially, too. She should have had brown hair (it's mentioned as being brown in one of Samantha's books!).
I don't trust that they will make Emily look anything like her book character. She's supposed to be short and very thin. They'd have to change the doll torso, head shape, etc. to make Emily look like her book description.
So it could be she'll have black hair and brown eyes!

They will probably make her fair, to contrast with Molly, or extremely dark (again, to contrast with Molly). Ginger hair to me is red-red, and ginger kids usually have blue eyes, though I've often seen brown. Perhaps to make her "different" then the other dolls, she'll have red-red hair (closer to Felicity's old color) and brown eyes and super fair skin. I dated a guy with this coloring once (he also had all-over freckles). It took some getting used to, but was interesting.

Grapedy--good observations. They could make her hair a bit longer and that would be very different from any other dolls. A Kit hairstyle that was just below shoulder length would be very cute, and other than 21, no dolls have anything but short or long hair. . . .
Does anyone have the newest set of Molly books? I just wondered if there are pictures of Emily in there, or if the description might have changed??
They changed Elizabeth in the new Felicity books. I can't imagine that they would have not thought about that to tie it in with the new editions of the books.

And I was also thinking 21's hair color because she's the only doll with that color. It's very unique, in between Nellie and 24.
